Although, there is no apology or excuse which will pacify the group at this point. My goal is to make an official statement for the reason for my absence from the community and industry at large as well as announce next steps for Vivid. First, thank you @Yoeshi for your incredible support for the community throughout this difficult time. @Yoeshi has made the ultimate sacrifice to continue standing by the brand through all of uncertainty and speculation. Any organization would be lucky to have you involved and I am eternally grateful for what you’ve done. Looking back on the past 2 years it’s so amazing what a simple idea has evolved into. If we look back at the history of Vivid there was a very pivotal point in which I made the decision to discontinue hiding behind a moniker and reveal my real name. Why? It was simple, I was that confident and passionate about what we were building that I wanted to further legitimize it by attaching my name to it. Let the record show that I always tried my earnest to bring Vivid to fruition and deliver to the community what we could with the resources we had and I can confidently say we achieved many multiples more than what the majority of the other ICOs of the day did. I stand by that. I had to take a step back from this project a couple months ago because I was mentally unable to effectively contribute to any decision making or navigate the product in an efficient way. Revealing my true identity has resulted in my family and loved ones being blackmailed and extorted. My name has been slandered and any opportunity to restore what’s left of my reputation completely destroyed. In the case of the latter, it’s rendered it impossible to get any kind of further support for the platform. If there is any community member left who is willing to move forward, Vivid Join is nearly finished with a couple more rounds of regression testing needed. Again, this was put on hold mainly due to the aforementioned death threats made against my individual family members directly. The future of XR has never been brighter and I’m so excited for the opportunities that lie ahead marrying it with Blockchain technology. I’d like to open up the floor to the community for suggestions on how to strengthen our product. Thank you for your patience and willingness to understand the situation. Best, Ian
